Ellen Deutsch, designer and artist

Ellen Deutsch is a dancer and choreographer living and working in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. She received a BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2008, and has performed with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, the Mary Miller Dance Company and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. Ms. Deutsch has choreographed several professional pieces since early 2007, most notably her work with Darkmaze Studios on the feature film Press Start. Since the summer of 2008 she has been attending the Urbana Center for the Alexander Technique, training to become a certified teacher of the Technique.
