Maker Faire Aftermath

Hi All!

I just returned from a long busy day at the Pittsburgh Mini Maker Faire. The day was fabulous; met lots of other makers and showed several dozen kids how to make wire jewelry!

I gave out a ton of business cards, so if you’ve arrived at the site from one of them–welcome! Have a look around, and visit my Etsy shop when you’re ready to purchase. In honor of the Faire, I’m even offering a coupon code. From now until the end of the year (that’s right, till December 31st, 2011) you’ll get 10% off your entire order when you use the code PGHMAKER11. So head on over and get your Christmas shopping done early!

As always, I do offer custom work and gift certificates, so if you’d like to take advantage of those opportunities, just send me an email!

Mini Maker Faire Details!

Good news, everyone!

I’ve been accepted as a maker at the first annual Pittsburgh Mini Maker’s Faire! I’ll have a table at the faire where I’ll be selling Relics as well as offering an interactive create-your-own earring station where visitors can design and help create a custom pair of sterling silver earrings!

The Mini Maker Faire will be on October 23rd, from noon to 6 pm, at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. More details about the faire itself can be found at their main website.

Mark it in your calendar, and stop by my table and say hello!

Angels Without Wings

Hey All!

Exciting news–I’ve created a special jewelry set to be auctioned off at my future-cousin Chastina Shurts’s “Angels Without Wings” benefit for Primary Biliary Cirrohsis. The benefit is next weekend and will include silent auctions, dinner, guest speakers, raising awareness, music and more. My set includes a necklace, bracelet and earrings, and you can see photos on my Flickr photostream. But here’s a few of the highlights:

Enjoy, and if you’re going to the benefit, be sure you check them out in person!
