Good news, everyone!
I’ve just applied to be a maker at the first ever Pittsburgh Mini Maker Faire! You can check out their event details here. If I’m accepted, I’ll have a table with an interactive “create your own jewelry” station. Visitors will be able to create a custom piece out of various design components, and then try their hand at helping me bring it to life!

Ellen Deutsch is a dancer and choreographer living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. She received a BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2008, and is the artistic director and founder of Geeksdanz. Ms. Deutsch is also a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique; she received her certification from the Urbana Center for the Alexander Technique in the spring of 2011, where she trained with third-generation teachers Joan and Alex Murray.
